Due to my success with the SEC Permaculture Garden, during the second year of my employment as Landscape Projects Coordinator I was approached by the Asian Pacific Cultural Center at Oregon State University. They wanted to build a raised garden bed to provide a place for their community to gather and engage in a healthy activity. Throughout the year, I worked with them to develop a design plan, a budget, and to acquire materials and coordinate construction. Afterwards, we hosted an event to plant the raised bed.
